Hey, guys!

I am a freshman in college and I have been on this 'Natural hair' journey for the past year (since May 2014 actually). This blog is the place for me to express my challenges and accomplishments as it pertains to my hair growth and development.

SO A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

I was born in Jamaica and I move to the United States in 2011. I have a twin sister and I have had relaxed hair for as long as I can remember. I did not get a chance to grow and love my natural hair, nor did I know anything about naturally curly hair. I loved straight hair but the constant burns and processing was getting to me. In addition, I met some wonderful people who continuously influenced me to "go natural" and to embrace naturally curly hair. 

AND NOW I'M HERE!

I hope to inspire and elicit a sense of self-love and appreciation for oneself. I strongly believe that we have the power to do whatever we put our minds to so if you would like to continue or even begin your journey with me, please don't hesitate!!!
